Chas Hack:
The First Student Hackathon
The premiere hackathon at Chas Academy, organized by students for students. A day of creativity, collaboration, and innovation with the theme "Simplify" — turning chaos into clarity.
The Vision
Chas Hack was born from a simple idea: students inspiring students. As first-year students at Chas Academy, we knew firsthand how powerful hackathons can be for learning, networking, and pushing creative boundaries. We wanted to create a welcoming space where everyone could participate — no prior experience required.
Theme: Simplify
From chaos to clarity. The challenge was to take something complicated, boring, or messy in school or everyday life and build a solution that makes it simple and efficient. Teams had freedom to choose any tech stack — from console apps to full web applications — with AI tools encouraged.
"The expectation wasn't to build an enterprise-grade product. The goal was to get as far as possible, present an MVP demo, and explain how the project could evolve. Creativity and innovation over perfection."

The Organizing Team
This event wouldn't have been possible without an amazing team of organizers. We started planning back in December 2025 and worked together to make sure everything ran smoothly.
I'm incredibly proud of all the teams that participated. The talent at Chas Academy is truly impressive, and I can't wait for the next Chas Hack! ❤️
